Welcome Home Ted!!

Ted is FINALLY home!!!! We are all so excited to have him home. It has been a very long 5 1/2 weeks without him. His flight came in at 6:45pm, so Brad and Alex went and picked him up. When he got home we had the brownies that Alex made.

Peanut Butter Sprinkle Brownies

Alex wanted to make Ted a surprise for when he gets home. So he decided to make peanut butter brownies with sprinkles. He put blue, green, orange and yellow ball sprinkles on the brownies. Then decided he wanted to put LOVE ALEX on the cake in sprinkles, so I did.

Sierra is 18 months old!

My baby is 18 months old today. She walks, runs, talks (okay just a few words mostly baby babble), signs, and eats by herself. She also yells, cries, whines and runs away from me. Hmmm the joys of toddlerhood!!!

Company Party at Remlinger Farms

Brad's other company party was at Remlinger Farms in Carnation, WA this year. It was about an hour drive there on a beautiful day. When he got there we had lunch. Then we let the kids go wild and ride the rides, the train, the hay maze, the ponies....

Barry and Robin

Today Brad's dad, Barry, and his step-mom, Robin, came for a visit. They were already flying into Seattle for an Alaskan cruise, so they came a day early so they could see us. We had so much fun with them. We were very sad they are only staying for one day. We can't wait to have them come back, this time for a longer visit!

Jump Start

Today was Alex's first day of Jump Start at his new Elementary School. His school of trying out a new program to help easy kids into kindergarten. So he is going Monday - Thursday from 9-11:30am for the next two weeks. They will be working on writing, letters, numbers, art and good classroom behavior. Then they will have a week off and start kindergarten with the rest of the school on Sept 8th. Alex said he had a lot of fun at "Practice School", he cracks me up!!!

5 Year Check-Up

Alex had his five year check-up today. And he did great!!!! He weighs 37lbs and is 41 inches tall with his BMI at 50%. His eye sight is perfect and so is his hearing. He was able to pass all of his tests with flying colors. He had all of his shots last year, so NO SHOTS this year!!!

Swimming Pool Fun

A good friend of our gave us this fun pool. We finally had time to blow it up and a warm enough day to use it. So Sierra, Alex and Sydney played in it today. It looks like they had a great time.

HAPPY 10th BIRTHDAY TED

I can't believe my baby is turning 10 today!!! I remember the first time I met him he was 6 months old and was still learning how to crawl and the most adorable baby I had ever seen. I fell head over heels for him and have loved him ever since. And now 9 1/2 years later I think I love him even more (if that is possible). He is so smart, and caring, sensitive and strong. He is a wonderful big brother and a good friend. I am so proud of him and I am so happy to be able to call him my son. I love you Ted!!!!

Playing Tourist in Seattle

We decided to go and play tourist in Seattle today. We went to Pike's Place Market, a few different piers and wandered around the waterfront. On one of the piers they have a carousel and arcade, the best ice cream ever and great views of the water!

Blue Angels

Every year the Blue Angels come to Seattle. They close down the I-90 floating bridge between Seattle and Bellevue and let people walk onto the bridge and watch the Blue Angels show. This year Brad and Alex were finally able to go. They loved it!!!
