Ted and Brad Blue Belt Test

Ted and Brad both had their Blue Belt test today.

They both passed and received their Blue Belts!!!!!

Wine Tasting, Shopping, Eating and Comedy

This morning Heather had to wake up early for a work phone call. I woke up a while later and we got ready. We went downstairs for breakfast, very good. After breakfast we headed out to the wineries that were recommended to Heather. First stop was Anne Amie Vineyard. It was gorgeous inside and out! And the wine was fantastic!!!! So much so that I bought a bunch!

After we went to lunch at a little Mexican restaurant on the way to our next stop. Next stop August Cellars. We both found a few wines that we loved and bought some more!

On the way back to the hotel we did a little shopping. We went back to the hotel to change. We went to Powell's Books and spent some time and money there. Then we went to dinner and the comedy club. It was Moms Night Out at the comedy club and it was pretty good. Then we went back to the hotel and stayed up way late again talking and reading.

Portland here I come!!!

I left Bellevue (I had to drop Sierra off with Brad) at 2:15pm and got to Portland at 6pm. It rained the last two and a half hours of my drive and the traffic in Portland is horrible!!! I think it is worse than in Bellevue and Seattle. But once I arrived at the hotel everything was great! I unpacked and waited for Heather to get back to the hotel. While I waited I took pictures of the hotel room, I loved it and we will be staying here when we bring the kids back.

Heather and I went to the Melting Pot for dinner, it was fabulous. Then we stayed up late talking (like that was a surprise).

Sierra got a new bike, some chalk, some candy and a book. Ted and Alex got a new spy watches, spy pens and spy cellphones, some chalk, some candy and some books.

We went to Jump Planet for some bouncing fun and an egg hunt. It was a great way for the kids to work off some of the morning sugar!

After Jump Planet we went home for naps. After everyone woke up we went to Shari and Garrison's house for a wonderful dinner!! It was a great Easter!

Tulip Festival

First stop for Sierra and me was Tulip Town...

After we walked the WHOLE field, we walked back to the main area and got hot cocoa and a muffin, then we bought a magnet and a bouquet of red tulips.

We had so much fun at Tulip Town that Sierra wanted to see more flowers. So we drove a few minutes away to RoozenGaarde and did it all over again!

Sierra found a beautiful golden flower and started singing the Tangled song to it!

Sierra LOVED this frog, we played here for over 15 minutes.

It was such a gorgeous day for the Tulip Festival and Sierra and I had so much fun!!!!
