Disneyland Day 2

We woke up a little bit early and got ready of the day and had breakfast in the lobby of the hotel again. After all the walking that everyone did the day before we decided to wait for the shuttle to take us to the parks. When we got to the park I realized that I had forgotten to pack our tickets for the princess lunch. So I took the kids into the park and Brad went back to the hotel for the tickets. We were 20 minutes early for the park opening, but a few character were out so we got a few pictures while we waited for Brad.

Brad come back right as the park opened. The boys wanted to go on Autopia and Sierra wanted to go on Astro Orbitor, so I took the boys and Brad took Sierra. Sierra and Brad got done faster then us so they went on Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters while they waited for us.

After the boys and I got down we joined Brad and Sierra and went on Buzz Lightyear and then we headed over to "Captain EO". Ted and Alex love Michael Jackson so we were really excited for them to see the show. They loved it!!!!! On the way out of the park we stopped by Pixie Hollow and visited with Vidia and Tinker Bell.

We left Disneyland and walked over to California Adventures for our lunch with the princesses at Ariel's Grotto. Lunch was amazing; we saw Ariel, Sleeping Beauty, Belle, Snow White and Cinderella. The food was also wonderful, all three of the kids had a great time. And we were able to add 5 more autographs to their books.

After lunch we met up with Jean, Rey, Haley and Sydney. Ted, Brad, Sydney, Haley and Rey went on California Screamin' (twice) while Jean and I took Alex and Sierra on King Triton's Carousel (they were able to go on it over and over and over again).

We all went on Toy Story Midway Mania! is was awesome (a favorite for everyone). We got a few pictures in the Toy Story box, stop and got Sierra's face painted and henna tattoos for Ted and Alex.

Haley and Sierra waited in line for Mickey's Fun Wheel (while the boys were getting their tattoos), then Sydney, Ted and Alex went and waited in line for Mickey's Fun Wheel. The adults were able to sit down in the shade and enjoy the views.

Then Brad, Alex, Sierra and Sydney went on the Silly Symphony Swings. After the swings, Ted, Alex, Sydney and Sierra went on Jumpin' Jellyfish.

Afterwards Brad and I took Alex and Sierra on Goofy's Sky School (much scarier than it originally looked, oops!) while everyone else got some food. Then we walked over to The Little Mermaid - Ariel's Undersea Adventure so everyone could go on it (by far Sierra's favorite ride). We stopped to see Mador and Lightin' McQueen. Then we went into "a bug's land" and let the kids ride on Flik's Flyers, Francis' Landybug Boogie, Heimlich's Chew Chew Train, and Tuck and Roll's Drive 'Em Buggies.
We left "a bug's land" and everyone (but Sierra and I) headed to The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror (by far one of Ted AND Alex's favorite rides). While they went on the ride Sierra and I wondered around. And saw a few streets shows.
Afterwards we saw ElecTRONica Power Surge and went into see Turtle Talk with Crush. While waiting for Crush we saw Animation Academy, Character Close-Up and Sorcerer's Workshop. Turtle Talk with Crush was amazing and Ted was picked to talk to Crush. By now everyone was tired, but Sierra really wanted ice cream, so we walked back to Disneyland and got some ice cream at the  Main Street Cone Shop. We had to say goodbye to Jean, Rey, Haley and Sydney when they left for the night. On the way out Sierra was so sad (Haley left and it was another long day), tired and hungry, Sierra saw Minnie Mouse and NEEDED to see her again. So Sierra and I waited in line to see her, Minnie saw how sad Sierra was and started kissing her and dancing with her. By the end of their dance Sierra and laughing and smiling. We told Minnie goodnight and Sierra told me she was ready to go back to the hotel. We left a 9pm, 2 hours at the parks today! We took the shuttle back to the hotel, when we got there Brad took Sierra and Ted back to the room, while Alex and I went to Coco's for a late dinner. I took some food back to the room, we ate, showered, bathed, packed and went to bed!

Disneyland Day 1

We woke up early this morning and got ready to go, the kids were so excited!  We stopped by the hotel lobby to have some breakfast before the shuttle picked to take us to Disneyland. We decided to use our early morning entry today so we need to be there by 9am.

We were waiting for the shuttle and waiting and waiting and the kids were ready to go, so we walked the 20 minutes to the park. It was the perfect morning for it and the kids were great, we got to the park at 8:45am!

At 9am the kids enter Disneyland for the first time, they were so happy!!!

We went to Fantasyland and waited in line, 15 minutes, for the first ride, Peter Pan's Flight (Sierra's favorite ride)!
Then we walked on King Arthur Carrousel,

Tried to pull the sword from the stone,
We went on Dumbo the Flying Elephant, Alice in Wonderland, Mad Tea Party (one of the kids favorites), King Arthur's Carrousel (a second time for Sierra), Pinocchio's Daring Journey, Snow White's Scary Adventures and Mr. Toad's Wild Ride (all in less than an hour!)

Then we need to kill a little bit of time before meeting up with some friends so we took the Disneyland Railroad from Fantasyland all the way around the park. When we got back we met up with Jean, Rey, Haley and Sydney, everyone was so excited to have our friends with us at Disneyland!

Then we headed into Toontown for some autographs, rides and to see where the characters live.

(This was Alex and Sierra's very first roller coaster ride EVER! and all three of the kids first roller coaster ride at Disneyland)

We left Toontown and headed for Frontierland. Everyone went on Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Alex and Sierra were not big fans. But Alex decided to do it again so he could concur his fears, so Sierra and I sat it out the second time around (this ended up being one of Ted and Alex's favorite rides). After the second time we went to the souvenir/pin store and got the kids their lanyards and a few pins.

Next we went to the Adventureland and had an amazing lunch at the Bengal Barbecue. After lunch I took Sierra and Alex to Tarzan's Treehouse while everyone else went on Indiana Jones Adventure. We met back up with Rey and Haley and went to New Orleans Square and took the kids on Pirates of the Caribbean. Then everyone went on the Haunted Mansion (one of Sierra's favorite rides). We wondered down into Critter Country where Brad, Ted and Rey went on Splash Mountain (one of Ted's favorite rides) and the rest of us went on The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh (one of Alex's favorite rides). When we got off the ride we saw Piglet, Tigger and Pooh signing autographs so we waited in line to see them. Right before our turn Piglet left and Eyeore came.

After getting all the pictures and autographs we walked back up to Tarzan's Treehouse and all the kids went up and played. Then we took the Jungle Cruise (so very punny). As we got off the cruise we found Princess Jasmine and Aladdin and got their picture and autographs.

Then we went to the Enchanted Tiki Room (it was just like I remembered). We had some snacks and watched the show. We decided to head over to California Adventures until closing.
We wait in line for 40 minutes to ride on Soarin' Over California (so worth the wait, by far one of my favorite rides). After, we split up and Brad, Ted, Sydney and Rey went on The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror and Sierra, Jean, Haley and I went to ride The Little Mermaid - Ariel's Undersea Adventure ( we walked right on so we did it twice) and Francis' Ladybug Boogie.

By then the park was closing and we all met back up and left the parks and went to Coco's for dinner.
After dinner we walked over to our room and everyone went straight to bed and everyone was asleep within minutes 11 hours at the parks will do that to you.
