It is official....Sierra is a walker

Sierra finally took more than 3 steps before falling down today. She was able to take 7 steps the frist time and then 10 steps the next time. Then after her nap there was no stopping her. She was walking all over the place. We are still trying to get it on film, everytime I pull out the camera she stops walking!

Sierra is 11 months old!

My baby is 11 monthd old today. It makes me want to cry. It is so hard to watch her grow up so fast and know this is the last time we are going to see this. Watching her learn to walk and talk and climb. Listening to her babble, laugh, and even cry. In only one more month she will be a year old. WOW!

Are my kids ever in school?!?!?

So on Monday the boys were both out of school for MLK Jr. Day. Then on Thursday Ted had an early release day, which means he goes to school from 9:20am - 12:20pm. And then on Friday Ted had the day off. Didn't he just have a really long winter break?!?! Hmmmmm

My back is finally starting to feel better!!

I was told about a different doctor to go see about my back. After 2 1/2 months of being in pain and trying just about everything I was willing to do just about anything to feel normal again! So yesterday I went and saw him for the first time, and I didn't feel much different, that is until I woke up this morning and could walk without major pain. Then I went back to him again this morning and now I am sitting here in very little pain. Over the next week the swelling should go down more and I should feel even better! I am so happy!!!!!!!

Swimming Lessons

The boys have been taking swimming lessons for almost a year now and they are doing so well. Alex is in PSF (ages 3-5) Level 3 now and Ted is in YS (ages 6-12) Level 3. They both started at a Level 1 last year. It is amazing how much they have learned and how much they know now! I can't wait to see what they learn this session. Good luck boys!

Back to School?!?!

So the boys were supposed to go back to school this morning, but it snowed (think a small dusting just enough to cover the ground). So Alex's school was canceled and Ted had a 2 hour late start. So much for going back to school.

Choo Choo

We were taking down the Christmas decorations and the kids climbed into the tubs and started playing. It was so cute. So we gave Sierra some toys and the boys took turns driving the train.

I hope everyone has a wonderful 2009! Last night we had a great dinner at home with the kids and me mom. Then a little later Brad and I went out for dessert, while the kids had a sleep out and movie night with Grandma. No one made it to midnight. The boys were asleep by 10pm and Brad and I were asleep by 11pm!
