Beaver Lake

This morning we got up and had a quick breakfast and got ready to head out to Peter's house (Brad's boss). The house is in Sammamish on Beaver Lake (about 45 minutes south east of us) and it is beautiful. We got to their house by 11am and met everyone and got ready to take the barge out on the lake and return a neighbors boat. The day started out overcast and cold, but was sunny and beautiful out by 12pm. Ted was able to "pilot" the boat back to the neighbors dock, on the other side of the lake. While Peter, Jordan (one of his daughters), Alex, Sierra and I followed on the barge. We picked up Brad, Ted and Sierra (she switched half way over) at the dock and went a little ways out and threw the anchor. We let Ted and Alex swim in the lake, while Brad swung Sierra's legs into the water. Luck for us and Sierra she was wearing a lifejacket, because she decided to scoot of the barge backwards, three of us tried to grab her, and we all missed. She ended up flat on her back in the water at first she started to giggle, then she realized she was in the water she started to cry. Brad hauled her out of the water and I changed her clothes and diaper. The boys were getting cold so we headed back towards the house. The kids had some snacks while we were able to talk. We went back and helped clean up and then we had to head home for Sierra's nap. We all had a great time and can't wait to go back!
